Peter J. Ridge is an active trial attorney and maritime lawyer, handling passenger personal injury claims, crew-member personal injury claims, crew-member contract claims, wrongful death claims, as well as non-maritime personal injury claims.
Peter attended Sacred Heart University located in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he attained degrees in Business Administration and Business Economics, earning Cum Laude honors. After graduating from Sacred Heart, Peter attended St. Thomas University Law School in Miami, Florida. While at St. Thomas, Peter was an active member of the Moot Court Competition Team, St. Thomas Chapter of the Federal Bar, as well as the Peter T. Fay American Inn of Court. He enjoyed success at St. Thomas earning Dean's List honors and a Pro Bono Commendation. While earning his Juris Doctor degree, Peter was an intern at the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney as well as a judicial intern for the Honorable John J. O'Sullivan, U.S. Magistrate for the Southern District of Florida.
Peter began practicing as a maritime litigation attorney in 2014. He has been involved in numerous trials on behalf of individuals and families and has litigated multi-plaintiff lawsuits on behalf of passengers as well as crew-members. Peter is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
